I Spit on Your Grave

  • Laserdisc/DVD

[Note: Here is one of those ever-so-common instances of a movies cover being better than the actual movie.]

    [Below: Special edition DVD]

    Profanatica

    [#80]

  • As Tears of Blood Stain the Altar of Christ [Seven inch]

[Note: I wonder what the printers thought of this one!?]

[Above & below: Color versions of the above... very odd. Well, you gotta give it to them, they had balls, no pun intended. I like how the one guy didn't get naked but instead wore some shorts. I can imagine the conversation... "Fuck that I ain't getting naked for an album cover, that's faggoty! And then the other guys "You're just not pure evil like us, faggot..."]

[Below: Digital flyer for Profanatica Summer 2016 tour]

    Into the Pentegram

    [#81]

  • Issues from 1999 and 2001

[Note: From Poland, this is one of the best underground 'zines.
'Into the Pentagram' is also the name of one of the band Samael's coolest tracks, off their first release 'Worship Him'. The cover on Into the Pentagram, shown above, is an old Absurd band shot. Here are a couple of others from that day...]

    Velvet Cacoon

    [#82]

  • Flyer

[Note: 'Ecofascist black metal?' Sometimes genre descriptions tend to get a little 'creative'...]

    Gorgoroth

    [#83]

  • V H S

[Note: Here's some unofficial Gorgoroth concert footage for ya... don't get too excited now... Did you know that the former frontman, Gaahl, from Gorgoroth came out of the closet in 2008 and admitted he was gay? He also is known to be involved in fashion design for women. Even more controversial, Gaahl admitted being a vegetarian! For being a vegetarian he has received death threats and has suffered 'vegi-phobic' remarks during concerts.]

    Abomination

    [#84]

  • Sticker

[Note: Abomination is an old thrash metal band formed in 1987 by Paul Speckmann of the band Master.]

[Above: Abomination, Speckman is on the far left snarling. The guy on the right looks like he is about to fall asleep!]

    Xanataph

    [#85]

  • CD-R with track contribution for Mourning the Ancient CD #2

[Note: 'As the Land is Still...'
We used this track on our photo CD #2. It has a great atmosphere. We also used another track by this artist on our film. That song was called 'Through Her Eyes of Death'. It ended up being one of my favorite songs on the film. Xanataph, the person who wrote these tracks, was also the guitarist of the band Beltane, from New Zealand.]

  • Letter #8

    [#86]

[Note: Here's another example of a handful of letters we received back in 1998/99 after Mourning the Ancient images were mistakenly published in a 'zine of the day, The Grimoire. To see a scan and read a little bit more about it click here.

'Sorry Mr Scary, the CD you have ordered is not available.
Here is a money order refund for $13.00 made out to 'Mr. Scary' he he he, just kidding.]

    ...the Soil Bleeds Black

    [#87]

  • Sticker/shirt

[Note: Another cool ...the Soil Bleeds Black shirt. These guys were super creative and made great music.]

    [shirt, front/back]

    D.R.S.

    [#88]

  • Postcard flyer

[Note: 'Send us fragments of corpses and you will gain a special price!' What the...? Ha!]

    Mystical Sisters

    [#89]

  • Pamphlet

[Note: From what I gather this appears to be a pamphlet for a sisterhood of sorts. Great imagery!]

    Moonfog

    [#90]

  • Catalogue

[Note: Cover advertising the Mother North video...]

    Paganism: An Aryan Science

    [#91]

  • Pamphlet

[Note: An educational pamphlet put out by the White Order of Thule]

    Deteriorate

    [#92]

  • Letter/Our first interview!

[Note: In late 1995 we did our first interview with Frank from Deteriorate. The letter on the left looks like it survived a flood!]

    Millions of Dead Children

    [#93]

  • Are you really that hungry? [seven inch record]

[Note: Here is quite a bizarre record telling of the virtues of vegetarianism and the effect of man's carnivorous appetite on our bodies and the Earth. I looked it up and apparently it is from an old Punk band. I listened to it and it's not for me...]
