[Bootleg]
This CD contains nine live tracks, recorded 'in somewhere of Scandinavia' in the winter of 1997. It begins with 'The Loss and Curse of Reverence,' Ye Entrancemperium,' 'Thus Spake the Nightspirit,' 'I am the Black Wizards* (*with 's' after 'Wizard' missing),' 'With Strength I Burn* (*Strength misspelled 'Strenght'),' 'Night of the Graveless Souls/Ensorcelled by Khaos* (* 's' missing on 'Souls'),' 'The Majesty of the Nightsky,' 'A Fine Day to Die (Bathory cover)' and 'Inno a Satana.' Tracks 10 and 11 are demo versions of 'Witches Sabbath' and 'Ancient Queen.' The CD ends with a Hellhammer cover from 1992 of 'The Usurper.'

One of the more professional looking bootlegs I've seen, done by 'Warlord Records.' The packaging is complete with lyrics, bio's, real full names of the band, listings of their other bands and projects and a full history of the band. The CD contains 11 live tracks recorded at the 'Baroeg, Rotterdam' on 12/10/97. It begins with 'Alsvartr (the oath),' 'Ye Entrencemperium,' 'Thus Spake the Nightspirit,' 'I am the Black Wizards,' 'With Strength I Burn* (*Strength misspelled 'Strenght'),' 'Night of the Graveless Souls,' 'Ensorcelled by Khaos,' 'Intermezzo,' 'The Majesty of the Nightsky,' 'A Fine Day to Die (Bathory cover)' and 'Inno a Satana.'

The cover of this bootleg with 'Warhammer Records' bears the suicide picture of Mayhem former band mate 'Dead,' reportedly taken by Euronymous after the fact. The inside sleeve bears a loving inscription to Burzum's 'Grishnackh,' stating 'anti-Grishnackh, Kill Burzum now,' accompanied by a picture of Varg crossed out. This CD begins with eight songs live in Sarpsborg back in 1990. Beginning with 'Deathcrush,' Necrolust,' 'Funeral Fog,' 'Freezing Moon,' 'Carnage,' 'Buried by Time and Dust,' 'Chainsaw Gutsfuck' and 'Pure Fucking Armageddon.' The final four songs are live in Lillehammer in 1986. They are 'Dance Macabre*,' 'Black Metal* (*Dance Macabre and Black Metal on same audio track),' 'Procreation of the Wicked,' and 'Welcome to Hell.'

Undoubtedly a very influential band in the beginnings of black metal, Hellhammer is also a very overlooked band by today's 'scene.' This CD said to be done by 'Hellhammer Maniac Records.' It was recorded way back in December of 1983, in Switzerland. It proudly states on the back cover, 'This record is for Hellhammer-Maniacs only!' Notice the many Mayhem influences in the song titles in particular. The track listing is: 'Messiah,' 'The Third of the Storms,' 'Buried and Forgotten,' 'Maniac,' 'Euronymous,' 'Triumph of Death,' 'Revelations of Doom,' 'Reaper,' Satanic Rites' and 'Cruxifixion.'

This is an interesting seven song rehearsal because Count Grishnackh plays bass on it. It was recorded on May 16, 1992, probably better days for both Euronymous and Varg, definitely back in the days when black metal had a clearer purpose. This begins with undoubtedly one of Mayhem's best songs, 'Freezing Moon,' then another great, 'Pagan Fears,' followed by 'Buried by Time and Dust,' 'Life Eternal,' 'Funeral Fog,' 'Cursed in Eternity' and 'De Mysteriis dom Sathanas.'

This bootleg was definitely done by the same person who did the Burzum/Gorgoroth split bootleg, as its the same basic design, poor print and paper, limited to 500 copies, etc.. But, most interesting is the mockery of Necropolis as the label of this CD (The Burzum/Gorgoroth was mocking Full Moon Productions). It states the basic design of Necropolis Records, except it says, 'Negropolis' and has a corresponding picture. The CD-R begins with Graveland, the tracks being: 'Intro,' 'The Eyes of Balor* (*misspelled 'Dalor'),' 'The Forest of Nemeton Part 2,' 'Children of the Moon* (* 'the' is omitted in error)' and 'Outro.' Next is Behemoth's demo, 'The Return of the Northern Moon*' ('Return' spelled incorrectly as 'Retern'). The tracks are: 'Of my Worship (intro),' 'Summoning of the Ancient Gods,' 'Dark Triumph,' 'Monumentum (intro),' 'Rise of the Blackstorm of Evil,' 'Aggressor (Hellhammer cover)' and 'Outro.' Note: All intro's and keys are done by Rob Darken of Graveland.

'For this demo several singers were auditioned. It was recorded in 1985 and has local metal vocalist Kenny Bamber and Dallas sharing vocals. Kenny's style did not fit the band so Dallas continued singing. After Dallas' departure, Mike Browning took over lead vocals.' This CD is quite an interesting listen to anyone used to Morbid Angel's releases. Its quite terrible frankly, but interesting in a historical way, to look back where it all began. Mike Browning would soon lead Morbid Angel through the masterpiece of 'Abomination of Desolation.' The track listings are: 'The Gate/Demon Seed*,' 'Evil Spells*,' 'The Gate/Demon Seed**,' 'Evil Spells*' and 'Evil Spells**.'
