[Peaceville]
Banished was originally called Baphomet back in the early nineties, before a name change due to legal problems with another band under the same name. They only released one CD and one seven inch under each name, but under the Banished name they were far superior. This vinyl was released in 1993 on the Peaceville Collectors Club series of limited edition 7" vinyls. It contains the tracks 'Altered Minds' and probably one of the fiercest death metal songs ever 'Cast out the Flesh.' Both tracks were taken from their unreleased demo of 1993.
[Osmose Productions]
Profanatica, largely known for their obscene and controversial antics, managed to produce some grim music in their time. This 7 inch was their final release, containing 3 songs: "Raping of Angels," "Final Hour of Christ" and "Of Pestilence" (the first two later to appear on Havohej's CD "Dethrone the Son of God.")
[After World Records]
This seven inches two songs were recorded live back in the glory days of death metal in 1991. One of a handful of underrated death metal bands from those days, this vinyls tracks are: "Boiled in Blood" and "Infection of Death." A year or so afterwards they were signed to Peaceville where they released the CD "The Dead Shall Inherit." Sometime afterwards they would change their name to Banished and release the seldom heard "Deliver me unto Pain," under Peaceville.
[Napalm Records]
This seven inch, although just recently released, has become quite a rarity these days, as it was very limited and only a available for a very short amount of time. It contains two exclusive studio outtakes of the first two recording days for "Supreme Immortal Art." The songs are "The Spirit of Venus" and "Magic Glass Monument."
[P.S. Records]
This is the only seven inch available from Abruptum, which was released in 1992. It contains two tracks: 'Hostes Orco Hostium Dis Manibus Pacis Ruptores Ultioni' and 'Animum, Mentem Alcis, Iuuentum Largitionibus, Hostes Ad Dimicandum, Commotis Exita Sacris Tiiyias.'
[Poserslaughter Records]
Master's Hammer of Czechoslovakia released this exclusive 2 song seven inch in 1992. The songs "Cards do not Lie" and "Satrapold" were recorded in October 1991. This band also released three CD's in the following few years: "The Jilemnice Occultist," "Ritual" and "Slagry." Ritual being their best by far, attaining them a sort of cult status amongst a section of the underground for their highly unique style.
[Axction Records]
Paul Ledney, after the disbanding of Profanatica, formed HAVOHEJ. To our knowledge a CD, two 7 inches and a 12 inch vinyl were released during the bands rather brief life. This picture seven inch contains two exclusive songs: "The Black Mist" and "Enlightened One."
