Bathory/Celtic Frost

Bathory and Celtic Frost

Bathory-demos 83-84/Celtic Frost-Live at Weinheim 1-6-85
[Bootleg]

-Format-CD-

Track one of this bootleg CD is a Hellhammer rehearsal from 1981 doing 'Triumph of Death.' Tracks 2-8 are Celtic Frost live in Weinheim 1-6-85, with the tracks, 'Intro,' 'Into the Cryps* of Rays (*Crypts misspelled on CD),' 'Circle of the Tyrants,' 'Suicidal Wings* (*Winds misspelled on CD),' 'Visions of Mortality,' 'Down Below' and 'Dethroned Emperor.' While the quality isn't anything special, it's average for a bootleg. Track nine is an Emperor rehearsal from 1992 of the Celtic Frost song 'Usurper,' once again misspelled 'Ursurper.' Track 10 is another Hellhammer track from 1984, 'Revelations of Doom.' The following tracks 11-16 are from Bathory's demo 83-84. The tracks are 'Sacrifice,' 'The Return of Darkness and Evil,' 'Intro (taken from the Conan movie),'In Conspiracy with Satan* (Misspelled on the CD as 'Conspirancy'),' 'Necromancy-Sacrifice' and 'Raise the Dead.' These Bathory tracks sound very muffled, especially track 15 and 16 for whatever reason.

Burzum/Gorgoroth

Burzum-demo 91+unreleased material/Gorgoroth-demo 93/live

Burzum-Demo 1991+ unreleased tracks/Gorgoroth-Demo 1993+live tracks
[Bootleg]

-Format-CD-R-

This bootleg is one of the strangest I've come across in a while. On the back of it is a pseudo Full Moon Productions logo, except having a look-alike 'j' in the middle. Below in the text it says, 'Full Jew Productions, PO Box Z.O.G..' You can also see the old Burzum flyer reprinted on the back from 1991. This release is apparently limited to 500 copies. It's a rather crude release as well. The CD-R itself doesn't play on a lot of stereos it seems, probably due to the program which recorded it. The sticker on the CD-R is a very thin type, therefore you can see the original blank CD-R labeling through the label. Anyway, this begins with the Burzum 1991 demo with the song 'Lost Wisdom,' then 'Spell of Destruction' and 'Channeling...,' which are different versions than the later CD's, also containing no vocals. Track 4 begins with an unreleased version of 'A Lost Forgotten Sad Spirit,' then continues with another different version of 'A Lost...' released on the 'Aske' MCD. Track six is a rough mix of 'Key to the Gate' called 'My Key to Purgatory.' The Burzum part of this CD wraps up with a rough mix of 'Lost Wisdom.' Tracks 8 and 9 are taken from Gorgoroth's 1993 demo 'A Sorcery Written in Blood,' the songs being 'Gathered at Blakulla (intro)/Sexual Bloodgargling' and '(Under) the Pagan Megalith.' Tracks 10 through 13 are Gorgoroth live in Germany, it doesn't disclose the date of the recording however. These tracks are 'Katharinas Vortgang,' 'Crushing the Scepter (Regaining a Lost Dominion),' 'Ritual' and 'Maaneskuggens Slave,' although there are only 12 actual tracks available on CD players.

Beherit

Beherit-Werewolf, Semen and Blood

Werewolf, Semen and Blood
[Bootleg?]

-Format-CD-

Here's a release I'm not entirely sure about. I've heard it's a bootleg, so I'm not sure if any permission was given or not. It's a release of 'Darkside' 'Under License of JL America.' Most of you by now have heard the talk about how JL America ripped off many of their bands years ago. However, if this isn't a bootleg, then it surely is extremely limited. It has five tracks taken from 'The Oath of Black Blood' and 'Drawing down the Moon.' The first track, the only from Drawing Down the Moon, is a remix of the song 'Werewolf, Semen and Blood.' A very strange version I might add. The following four tracks, 'Black Mass Prayer,' 'Beast of Damnation,' 'Hail Satanas* (misspelled from the original printing on Oath of Black Blood, which was 'Sathanas'), 'Dawn of Satans Millennium* (spelled correctly this time around as to the original version which was misspelled on 'Oath of Black Blood' as 'Millenium').'

Beherit-The First Years

The First Years
[Bootleg?]

-Format-CD-

Yet another Beherit CD which I'm not sure is licensed or a bootleg. It's called 'The First Years,' but it is 'The Oath of Black Blood,' just with different cover art and a different name. It's released by 'Metal Bastard.' It's also very professional looking, it even has a bar code. All ten songs from 'The Oath of Black Blood' in all of their crude splendid glory are here.

-Format-CD-

This bootleg begins with five tracks which are live in London. Beginning with 'Gothic Romance,' 'The Black Goddess Rises,' 'Of Mist and Midnight Skies,' 'The Forest Whispers my name' and 'Nocturnal Supremacy.' All of which are fairly muffled, which is typical of fan recordings from the crowd. Next are five tracks from the 'Total Fucking Darkness' demo, which are harsh sounding death metal. Tracks are 'The Black Goddess Rises,' 'Unbodied of Dusk,' 'The Raping of Faith,' 'As Deep as any Burial/Fraternally Yours, 666 (Outro)* ('Fraternally' misspelled 'Fraternallv').

-Format-CD--

This bootleg begins with eight songs live in Esberg, Denmark in 8-6-90, which are 'Cromlech,' 'Sunrise Over Locus Mortis*(two misspellings 'Over' as 'Ever' and 'Locus' as 'Locuus'),' 'Soulside Journey,' 'Accumulation of Generalization,' 'Sempiternal Past/Prescence Wiew Sepulchrality,' 'Iconoclasm Sweeps Cappadocia,' 'Neptune Towers* (misspelled 'Neptune Towards')' and 'Dismissal.' Next are the two songs from the 'Thulcandra' demo of 1988. These two songs are very death metal sounding, much more so than Soulside Journey. The songs are 'Eon/Thulcandra' and 'Archipielago.' This CD ends with a song done live somewhere in Norway back in 1992, which is 'Kathaarian Life Code.'

Songs 4-11 Mayhem takes over beginning with 'Silvester anfang,' 'Deathcrush,' 'Chainsaw gutsfuck,' 'Witching Hour' (Venom cover), 'Necrolust,' 'Cweirds manheim (a very strange 'All the Little Birds are Singing...' rendition?!'), 'Pure Fucking Armageddon*' and 'Outro.*' (*Last two audio tracks not found on CD for some reason)

This bootleg split from 'Warhammer Records' contains four songs from Dead's first band 'Morbid' which are: 'My Dark Subconscious,' 'Winds of Funera,' 'From the Dark' and 'Disgusting Semla.'
