Heathen Pride
[#818]
[Note: Here are full scans of another very interesting 'zine. Only three issues of Heathen Pride were released, this is the third and last, which came out in 2006. Extra special thanks to the editor of Heathen Pride 'zine for the great material!]

[Note: These odd photos appeared at an auction a few years ago. They're not very convincing and are kinda humorous.]
Dead Island - Rip Tide
[#820]
[Note: This special edition caused controversy because of its 'sexualization of a corpse'! Haha... so stupid. The company that made the game, Deep Silver, even issued an apology:
'A statement on the Zombie Bait Edition:
We deeply apologize for any offense caused by the Dead Island Riptide "Zombie Bait Edition", the collector's edition announced for Europe and Australia. Like many gaming companies, Deep Silver has many offices in different countries, which is why sometimes different versions of Collector's Editions come into being for North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
For the limited run of the Zombie Bait Edition for Europe and Australia, a decision was made to include a gruesome statue of a zombie torso, which was cut up like many of our fans had done to the undead enemies in the original Dead Island.
We sincerely regret this choice. We are collecting feedback continuously from the Dead Island community, as well as the international gaming community at large, for ongoing internal meetings with Deep Silver's entire international team today. For now, we want to reiterate to the community, fans and industry how deeply sorry we are, and that we are committed to making sure this will never happen again.'
Blah blah blah. Anyway, the game itself was pretty fun, but got kinda monotonous after awhile. With George Romero's recent garbage movies stating that even zombies have rights, things have certainly gone too far. Keep your political correct poison out of horror and video games!!!]

I Listen to Metal Because Fuck You
[#821]
[Note: Does it get much more stupid than this? For people that think "Oh I'm so edgy I have the F word on my shirt".
Issue III
(August 2006)
And implying metal is some sort of rebel genre of music anymore. It's now as mainstream as rap music and is full of sell-outs.
Buy a D I O shirt instead!]
