[Below: This postcard is from the Winterhilfswerk des Deutschen Volkes (Winter Relief of the German People), it says 'Kämpfen - Arbeiten - Opfern' (Fighters - Workers - Sacrifices), from Lamspringe (a village and a municipality in the district of Hildesheim, in Lower Saxony), February 12, 1941. This is a rare cancel, too bad it isn't a good strike. This word 'Lamspringe' reminds me of the Amish 'Rumspringa', where at the age of 16 they are given more freedom to explore the outside world and decide if they want to remain Amish or leave.]
