• The following items on this page were sent by the National Socialist German government. There will be a wide variety of postcards and envelopes as time passes. Below are a series of postcards from the 'Nationalsozialistischen Deutschen Studentenbund der NSDAP (National Socialist German Students' League of the NSDAP).

    The great Fritz Todt would die in an aviation accident on February 8, 1942, only 50 years old.]

    (Mass rally with Karl Hermann Frank - Morning celebration).]

    [Below: Karl Hermann Frank (January 24, 1898 – May 22, 1946) was an Obergruppenführer, in command of the police in the protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, including the Gestapo, the SD, and the Kripo. He first joined the NSDAP in 1919 and operated a National Socialist bookstore in Czech Sudetenland, where he formed several National Socialist parties, each one being banned (Sudeten German Party, etc.), in 1935. He was viciously murdered after the war. He was buried in an anonymous pit by the destroyers of this world. He was a dedicated National Socialist, and Old Fighter. His enemies have made him a martyr. Heil Karl Hermann Frank! Your enemies are forgotten, but your golden soul shines forever!]

    [Below: Reverse. Interesting. This was sent stamped Feldpost from a soldier. It says: Meine derzeitige Anschrift Lautet' (My current address is), he is a 'Gefreiter' (private) with the Feldpost number 03929.]

    [Below: Reverse. Another soldier one. This time he is a 'Feldwebel' (Sergeant) with a Feldpost number of 03909. His Feldpost number is very close to the soldier we just did. His was 03929 and this guy's is 03909... they have to know each other.]

    [Below: This is marked June 30, 1939. It says:
    'Bescheinigung - Der Student Paul Lackert ist zur Ableistung Seines Wehrdienstes - Examen - zum Einsatz auf dem väterlichen hof - zum Werkstudium - aus gesundheitlichen Gründen von der Erntehilfe 1939 befreit.'

    (Certificate - The student Paul Lackert is exempted from the 1939 harvest assistance for the performance of his military service – examination – and for work-study on the family farm due to health reasons.)]
