  • CD

This shaped picture LP has two of my favorite songs by King Diamond -- Halloween and Sleepless Nights. Both songs are taken from the 2004 album 'Deadly Lullabyes Live'...

[Above: Back. These logos are getting pretty damn stupid. Is the goal these days to make band logos completely unreadable?!]

  • Picture EP

This shaped picture record has got to be the strangest I've ever seen from Maiden. At first I thought it had to be a bootleg, but no, it is official. There is a music video for the song 'From Here to Eternity' that has this baphomet in it (a still of it is on the back of the record).

[Above: Here is something strange that I've never seen before. It's called a 'plinth', which is a base. This basically folds into a holder for display. The whole 'Hell ain't a bad place - Hell is From Here To Eternity' is the chorus from the song.]

  • 12" record

The 1985 legendary compilation 'Metal Inferno'. The first time I ever heard Venom was here! The anthem of Black Metal -- the track after the same name. It was also the first time I heard the incredible bands Widow and Witchfinder General. Cloven Hoof's Laying Down the Law and Demon's Don't Break the Circle are also great songs. There is also a cassette version of this.

  • Boxset

This 2018 four 7" EP boxset was released by Ascension Monuments Media. There is some controversy regarding it -- it uses bootlegs and apparently the guy who released it ripped a number of people off. As you will see, it is limited to 200 copies. It also came with three patches, but oddly two of the same patch. Whether this was a mistake or what I'm not sure?

This band is the first iteration of what would become Black Widow, except this is really horrible. Not my taste at all, but interesting nonetheless. This CD is very rare and you can see why -- no one likes it! It's crazy how they would end up doing one of the coolest songs in metal -- Come to the Sabbat.
