• Nothing too exciting here, but it is what it is. It would help if we knew what and who we were looking at, but unfortunately the soldier didn't label many of the photos. Many of the people in the photos, to me at least, don't look very 'German'. What do you think?

  • Below: The following papers, of Soviet origin, were also in the back of the scrapbook, but their relation is uncertain. Maybe something the soldier picked up during his service, or perhaps belonging to a family member. We'll never know, but I kept them with the photos for historical completeness. Maybe one of you out there who speaks Russian could tell us what they say?
