We walked the whole morning looking for the right wooden club for this shoot. The shark teeth we embedded are thousands of years old. Countless of these teeth were found in a part of Morocco in what was once an ancient sea. After all the millennia buried beneath the earth they are still razor sharp. Ancient peoples have used teeth like these in weapon-making since time immemorial. The idea is to hit your opponent and the teeth will break off inside your target, causing a profusely bleeding wound, and one not easily cleaned and stitched without first picking out the many shards of teeth, an act in itself which invites infection.
