  • After many years of publishing our photographic works, we thought it was time to show you some glimpses of something different. Some of the following pictures represent tests of various kinds for Mourning the Ancient, some reflect our boredom, others are just everyday life, and others still are that grey area somewhere between Mourning the Ancient and mundane existence. Enjoy the tour of these distant and not-so-distant days...

[Below: The following photos were sent to close friends during the Christmas/Yule season. Deck the halls with swastikas and National Socialist cheer!]

[Below: Here's a little Yule gift from the same era sent to two special comrades (from Kraiten, of course, my partner in crime!).]

[Below: The universe can be a strange place. One such moment was a few minutes before these pictures were taken. It was a boring, hot July afternoon and I was reading Carl Jung's 1960 book 'Synchronicity'. What happened next, well, you wouldn't believe me, and rightfully so, therefore I'll just say it was an incredible 'Synchronicity' that Jung and me shared. Oh, and a tiny little visitor.]

[Below: A great comrade and friend from behind enemy lines in Europe sent these superb wood burned plaques to me. I absolutely love them and think you will too. He's done many, many others, and hopefully I'll be able to show more of his works to you soon. A million thanks M. for all your kindness, generosity and your true friendship over the years.]

[Below: A few others and myself met with David Irving here in Omaha. While I don't agree 100% on everything he has written in the past regarding certain aspects of WWII, I have a great respect for him, not only as a historian, but as a man. It was very interesting meeting with him in a personal setting and being able to ask his thoughts on things. The enemies of truth tried to DESTROY him, they took away nearly everything he owned, but they didn't change anything. They obviously only strengthened his resolve. Personally, he is a very cool guy, and the few others I met were interesting and cool as well.]
