• After many years of publishing our photographic works, we thought it was time to show you some glimpses of something different. Some of the following pictures represent tests of various kinds for Mourning the Ancient, some reflect our boredom, others are just everyday life, and others still are that grey area somewhere between Mourning the Ancient and mundane existence. Enjoy the tour of these distant and not-so-distant days...

[What you see behind me used to be an electronic gate which would lock after dark. Well, the hoodlums tore it off, and the city's answer was to erect concrete barricades, blocking the road altogether, which in turn were spray painted thoroughly!]

[Check out this odd stenciled graffiti. How odd to be found here, among this decay and ruin, since it is the ancient symbol of renewal]

[These overgrown stairs looked ancient and led to an awesome vista you'll see in a second.]

[Wow, like always, pictures cannot capture or convey the immensity of things. Here I am inches away from a massive drop.]

    [...miles of beautiful nothingness.]

    [...saying goodbye.]
